We are looking for a Data Modeller to work with a very large Bank in Singapore. Required Qualifications/Experience: Experience with IBM BDW, having worked on Consumer Banking area and knowledgeable in design/configure Datastage for ODS.Minimum six years of demonstrated experience is required in systems development, business and data requirements analysis, logical/physical data modeling, gap analysis, functional design analysis and documentation preparation. Minimum of four years must be in logical/physical data modeling; systems planning; business information planning; and business analysis. Must demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to work independently or under general direction only. With very deep knowledge of Datastage V7.5.x or above at least trained on V8.0. Should have a clear understanding of job design & optimization, meta data architecture, security architecture, building of common/shared objects, dimensional model population, character set handling, job sequencing, nodal configuration, resource/scratch configuration, change management, etc in Unix environment. Knowledgeable and proficient in the following: Data Modeling (Logical/Physical) Oracle SQL/PLUS Web Services UML GML ERwin Data ModelerOracle SQL/PLUS & PL/SQLDatastage V7.5.x or above at least trained on Datastage V8.0.Oracle Databases, including Data Modeling and NormalizationUnderstanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) principlesKnowledge of Rational Unified Process (RUP)Ability to perform the following functions/responsibilities: Analyze business requirements and gather data requirements. Analyze functional requirements and map to data structures. Work independently and transform functional requirements specification normalized logical data model into physical structures for implementation. Analyze complex requirements to produce flexible, reliable, scalable software solutions.Work closely with Project Managers to research and develop logical/physical data structure solutions that address stakeholder needs.
